THERAPEUTIC VISUAL ARTS CLASSES

These art classes are held in approved facilities and begin with very basic introductory steps. Arternatives employs the “READ & DRAW ADVENTURES TM” imaginative assignments as icebreakers, as well as “FOLLOW-ME DRAWING” step-by-step projects. These excercises then follow with weekly customized curriculum, craft and painting sessions. The lessons are set on a monthy, quarterly or bi-annual calendar and are relevant to appropriated ages. The lessons not only deal with art, they are designed to accomodate therapeutic and social issues which minors are directly dealing with. The completed or partial assignments can also be discussed in Groups, one-on-one counseling and family sessions.
