GRAFFITI REVERSAL & COMMUNITY BEAUTIFICATION PROJECTS

THE REALITY OF GRAFFITI - PHOTO

With approval of the judge, adolescents within Arternatives CYDP account for and work off court mandated community service hours, and labor not only to “reverse” the effects of  vandalism but also to create well designed murals, signs and landscape panels that enhance the replaced wall or city / urban environment. Kids do not only cover over defaced property, but they directly interact with owners, neighbors, citizens and other community personel involved in the planning of new approved works.

<> All hours are checked, registered and signed by ARTERNATIVES staff before reporting to Juvenile judicial system or Probation agencies.

Our motto is: “We don’t just cover up graffiti… we transform it!”
