ARTERNATIVES CYDP is currently teaching “THE WORLD I BREATH IN” Arts Program / INTRO ART COURSE / College Preparatory levels. (Los Angeles County – San Bernardino County)
The Classes are an exciting combination of the Fine Arts and Science. Children are exposed to the wonders of Biology, Geology, Malacological-Conchology, Entemology and Zoology, while learning all about the vast World of Art and it’s practical / Aesthetic / and Career applications. The California State Standards for Creative Arts and Sciences are interwoven into the Lesson Plans and Master Syllabus.
Mr. Hector Rios – Arternatives TM is teaching this originally designed course in Room 17, along with art teacher Mr. Ian Fullmer (who is a part time P.E. & Digital Photography instructor at the school campus, as well)
The kids are loving it!!!

JACKSON POLLOCK “DRIPS, SMUDGES & KARATE CHOPS” Art Classes

C-HARV Students just finished the series of Abstract / Expressionism studies. One of the featured artists that our students liked was Mr. Jackson Pollock. (please click here to review his Wikipedia biography) They simulated his techniques and even incorporated some new ones. Wind was blowing and paint was flying everywhere!!! ARTERNATIVES students discovered art history, personal forms of expressions and how to have fun calculatedly squirting & splatting.
